3.80 - Wrigley's Eclipse: Polar Ice

Wrigley's Eclipse: Polar Ice is a strange gum. The mint is a made up flavor like "Winter Breeze" or "Frostburn". Opinions varied quite a bit on this one.

Comments:
"The mint is…well, weird. It takes a bit like Pepto. You can definitely tell this isn’t a mint that appears anywhere close to nature."
"Pretty decent, although it’s exactly like Pepto Bismol."

"Although it is minty, this would be near the bottom of the mints I would grab."
"Pretty solid gum. Get rid of the Pepto connotation, and you’ve got yourself a true winner of a gum."

3.90 - Stride Shift: Berry > Mint

Stride Shift: Berry > Mint is the second shifting gum flavor. The first (Citrus > Mint) was a big hit, placing that one into the top 5 at that time. Let's see how this one does.

"I have to say, even after 30 mins, the final flavor is still alive and kickin'."
"Lasts a long time. A long long time."

"It’s not so bad that I feel the need to spit it out, but it is just ok..."
"I kinda dig it. The Berry is a bit weak, but it fades to a really good Mint."
"A mixed bag – starts out odd with the Berry, then shifts to Mint, then sort of blends together to finish as a berry / mint combined flavor. The beginning taste experience could be better."

"The flavor is quite strong, but in a good way!"
"Strong enough for man, but made for me! The berry was actually a little weak. The mint quickly overpowers it."

Comments:
"Good consistency. Even after 25 mins the gum is still easy to chew."
"As always, just not enough gum."
"Starts out a bit tough to chew. Gets better with repeated chewing though."

Comments:
"The smell of this gum reminds me of the shitty smelling chap-stick my wife will put in the car just to piss me off."
"Yes. They got these Shift flavors right."
"The end result is ok, but the beginning ‘shift’ is strange. In my opinion, it’s just a gimmick that doesn’t serve a purpose. Since the majority of the time you’ll be chewing the end results (the berry/mint combo), it would be better if it just started that way. The shift stage at the beginning isn’t very pleasant."
