After the first Hubba Bubba Max was a surprise, there were high hopes for this one, but it just doesn't quite measure up.

"Good at first but then tastes like rubber."
"It was crap."
"Not the best. Eventually, you end up with the nasty chemical flavor (consider throwing your gum out at that point)."

2.75 - Bubblicious: Sour Citrus

This gum comes in smaller 5 piece packs. For the cost, I don't know if it is worth it, simply based on the piece count...not to mention the junky taste, as you will see.

Comments:
"If the sour was any stronger, it couldn’t not have taken it."
"Horrid. Definitely sour, but not in a good way. The chemical cocktail used to put this flavor together doe not play nicely. For funzies, try to pick out the ‘flavor notes’."
"How did they ever think this was good enough to sell?"
"While it is called sour citrus, the sour is really more just awful tasting and there isn’t too much of a citrus flavor."

Comments:
"Unfortunately, very strong because the taste is so poor."

4.10 - Wrigley's Hubba Bubba MAX: Island Punch

This gum has our second perfect 5 score in something, and the first in bubble blowing. If other gums took a page out of the "Hubba Bubba" bubble gum formula, the world would be at peace. At an overall rating over 4, this gum is a good one and if you don't want (or don't like) minty flavors, it is a solid choice.
